Following the procedure, there will be a production of lymphatic fluid.
This is a clear fluid and a natural part of the healing process.
The treatment area will likely be tender, and the pigment will be bold and dark. This will fade down significantly and the end result will be much closer to your original expectations.
If you experience discomfort and swelling, apply an ice pack.
*Do not pick or remove scabs, let them flake off naturally* You can expect quite a bit of swelling on day 2-3, and the color will be very bold. This will fade down throughout the healing process. Feel free to take Advil or Motrin as needed, and apply an ice pack whenever necessary.
Continue this process until scabbing and peeling stops.
Please avoid using any petroleum based ointments.
You can now return to a normal routine. You can return to any normal exercise. Continue to limit bacteria exposure, long hot showers, and saunas until fully healed.
You may return to your full typical routine, including using your favorite skincare products, and apply makeup to the treatment area as desired.
