The healing process typically takes 2-6 weeks, depending on the area tattooed and the individual's healing process. During this time, the tattooed area may scab, itch, and flake as it heals.

Permanent Makeup pigment differs from standard tattoo pigment at a molecular level. It is highly pigmented with a much smaller pigment molecule, which helps get a more even appearance on sensitive areas where the skin is much more delicate than that on the rest of the body.
